What an Ashby application asks for.

Ashby applications live at jobs.ashbyhq.com, under the employer's name, with the form on the posting's Application tab. Each employer builds its own form, usually on one page:

• Your resume, and sometimes a cover letter.
• Name, email, phone and location, where location is usually a type-to-search list.
• LinkedIn and other links.
• The employer's own questions: yes or no buttons, lists to choose from, and written answers.
• Voluntary demographic questions on some postings, which you may decline to answer.

How Litos fills an Ashby application.

Choose a role on the Litos jobs board, or open an Ashby posting you found yourself and start from the Chrome extension. Litos prepares a resume for that posting from your own experience, prepares a cover letter when the application asks for one, and fills the form: your details, links and the employer's questions it has answers for.

When a question has no saved answer, Litos asks you instead of guessing, and it can reuse your answer on later applications. Written answers are drafts for you to read and change until they sound like you.

What stays with you.

Questions about your own situation, such as work authorization, sponsorship and salary, come from your answers, never a default. Anything you have to swear to or declare personally waits for you.

Sending is your choice. By default, Litos fills the application and you press submit. With an active trial or Litos+ plan, you can turn on automatic sending; with it on, Litos can send an Ashby application once every answer is backed by your profile. In the Chrome extension you get a 15-second countdown, and one click cancels it. With Hold for my final press on, nothing is sent until you press Send.

Honest limits.

Some employers' spam checks on Ashby refuse automated browsers. Litos does not keep retrying those: the application offers Finish in your browser, which opens the form in your own Chrome, where the Litos extension fills it and you press Submit. When a check asks a person to prove they are human, Litos stops and waits for you.

After an Ashby application is sent, the employer's confirmation is not always something Litos can read. When it cannot, the application is marked unverified rather than sent, so check for the employer's confirmation email.
