Why internship applications take so long.

Most internships are applied to on each company's own application site. Every site asks for the same things: your contact details, school, degree, graduation date, a resume and a few questions about when you can start. You upload your resume and then retype it into the form anyway.

Recruiting season puts many of these applications into the same few weeks, so the retyping adds up fast. The hard part should be choosing where to apply and writing the answers that matter, not filling out the same boxes again.

How Litos fills an internship application.

Start with your resume. Upload it, and check the information Litos read from it. Then pick an internship: from the Litos jobs board, or a posting you found yourself on another site, through the Chrome extension.

For each posting, Litos prepares a resume tailored to that job description from the experience you gave it, and fills the employer's application. Tailoring means choosing and ordering what fits the posting, such as a project, a campus role or a part-time job. It does not add jobs, skills or results you do not have.

When the form asks something Litos has no saved answer for, it asks you instead of guessing, and it can reuse your answer on the next application.

What Litos fills on an internship application.

These are the parts that repeat from one internship form to the next. Litos fills them from your profile and the posting:

• Your name, email, phone number and LinkedIn profile.
• Your school, degree and graduation date.
• Work history and education, including the repeated sections for each job and school on multi-page forms such as Workday.
• A resume tailored to the posting, attached where the form asks for one.
• A cover letter written for that job, for forms that ask for one.
• Answers to the employer's questions that match an answer you saved before.

What you still answer or check.

Some answers belong to you, and an internship form asks for more of them than most. Litos leaves these to you, or stops and asks:

• Work authorization and sponsorship. If you are an international student, give the exact answer that applies to you. Litos uses only the answer you gave.
• Availability: your start date, end date and the season you can work. Check it each recruiting season.
• GPA and grades. Check that the number and the scale match your transcript.
• Longer written questions, such as why you want this internship. Read any draft answer and change it until it sounds like you.
• Signing in to the employer's site, and codes the employer sends to your email.
• Anything you have to swear to or declare personally.
• A check that you are human, such as a CAPTCHA.

Auto apply to internships: two ways to send.

By default, Litos fills the internship application and waits. You read the tailored resume and every answer, then press submit yourself.

Automatic sending is a separate setting, off until you turn it on. With it on, Litos can send an application once every answer is backed by your profile and nothing on the page is in the way. In the Chrome extension you get a 15-second countdown, and one click cancels it. From the dashboard, it can send as soon as those checks pass.

With automatic sending on, Litos can send on its own on Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable, Breezy and Recruitee. On Workday, it fills the application page by page, and sending follows Hold for my final press. On other sites it fills the form, and sending follows your settings.

Finding internships to apply to.

On the Litos jobs board, set Job type to Internship to see only roles listed as internships, then start an application from any of them.

Internships are a small share of what companies post, and many open in late summer and fall for the following summer. Check the board often during that stretch rather than once.

Litos also keeps a public list of Summer 2027 internships in the US, Canada and remote. Every role comes from the employer's own job board and links straight to its application page, and you do not need an account to use it.

Honest limits.

Employer forms differ, so a page can still need you, and a site that loads is not a promise that every field fills. Litos does not solve CAPTCHAs for you, and it does not guarantee an interview.

A filled form is not proof that it was sent. Look for the employer's confirmation page or email before you count an application as done, and check its status in the dashboard before you apply to the same internship again.
