What a Greenhouse application asks for.

Many employers run their job boards on Greenhouse, at addresses such as job-boards.greenhouse.io, or embed the Greenhouse form in their own careers page. Each employer chooses its own questions, but most applications are a single page with the same core parts:

• Your resume, and often a cover letter.
• Name, email, phone and location, where location is usually a type-to-search list.
• Links such as LinkedIn, GitHub or a portfolio.
• Often, education, with lists to choose your school and degree.
• The employer's own questions, such as work authorization, sponsorship and how you heard about the role.
• Voluntary self-identification questions, which usually include a choice not to answer.

How Litos fills a Greenhouse application.

Choose a role on the Litos jobs board, or open a Greenhouse posting you found yourself and start from the Chrome extension. Litos prepares a resume for that posting from your own experience, prepares a cover letter when the application asks for one, and fills the form: your details, links, education and the employer's questions it has answers for.

When a question has no saved answer, Litos asks you instead of guessing, and it can reuse your answer on later applications.

What stays with you.

Questions about your own situation, such as work authorization, sponsorship and salary, come from your answers, never a default. Anything you have to swear to or declare personally waits for you.

Sending is your choice. By default, Litos fills the application and you press submit. With an active trial or Litos+ plan, you can turn on automatic sending; with it on, Litos can send a Greenhouse application once every answer is backed by your profile. In the Chrome extension you get a 15-second countdown, and one click cancels it. With Hold for my final press on, nothing is sent until you press Send.

Honest limits.

Greenhouse job boards run a check for robots and spammers, and each employer sets how strict it is. When that check asks a person to prove they are human, Litos stops and waits for you; it does not solve it. Custom questions vary by employer, so a page can still need you.

A filled form is not proof of receipt. When the employer shows a confirmation, Litos keeps it on the application. When it cannot read one, the application says so, so check for the employer's confirmation email before you count it as sent.
