Job Purpose To deliver on volumes, proceeds and profitability results in B2B (F&B, Lubricants and LPG) for the portfolio of customers in sectors including Hotels, Trade, Transport, Parastatal and as well as Key Accounts whilst adopting defend and grow strategy.

Position Accountabilities Sales

To be responsible of Hotel customers, Government, Trade, Transport and Parastatal Mauritius / Rodrigues and Key Accounts Manager. To manage the above to achieve bottom line results of the P&L such as proceeds, C3, and volumes To drive business growth with quality and accurate account plans for all platinum, gold and silver customers Proactively screen the market to develop and grow the allocated portfolio. To build good rapport & maintain good customer relationships with all key customers To comply fully with the VE standard offer book as per the customer promise initiative To defend business from competition by renewing all major customer contracts To comply with global credit policy and manage trade debtors effectively through good debt management and promoting customers adopting new payment trends, including electronic fund transfers and internet banking. To ensure debtors follow up and adhere to agreed target for ADL and OTC. To engender and foster goodwill both within and outside the company. Implement policies and procedures and ensure that the relevant controls are in place. To promote cross and up selling with existing customers and interdepartmental. To ensure C4C reporting on a weekly basis. Use of Sales First Tools on a weekly basis as appropriate to update KAP, SPANCOP & POPSA. Submission of Sales Call Plan and Call reports on a weekly basis. To provide portfolio performance KPIs every month (Volume, margin, trend and analysis etc.) To ensure compliance with all VE HSSE standards in the dedicated portfolio.

Marketing

In conjunction with marketing to help implement key CVP projects, including FSD, HFO Plus, innovative LPG applications, energy savings and efficiency surveys at customers and conduct sector seminars on technical and health and safety aspects.

Supply Chain

Provide accurate sales forecasts for effective S&OP process

Technical

To seek input from FLTS/Technical Staff and follow up on advice to customers on the technical design of LPG and fuel installations To carry preliminary site risk assessments for new installations for fuels and LPG bulk.

HSSE

To deliver on HSSE plan, close GEMS action points, RAP items from past audits, H&M program and comply to Shell HSSE standard.

Key Challenges

To coordinate for timely payment, monthly and to liaise with FSMs’ debt collectors, CSC Coordinators and Finance. To deviate customer price led requirement to value led approach by implementation of key CVPs. To ensure timely delivery of promises to customers by managing all internal stakeholders. Requirements

Qualifications, Job Knowledge, Skills & Experience University Graduate with experience in a commercial environment. Good team player. Sales experience and results delivery. Proven track record in implementing marketing initiatives. Business acumen and marketing spirit. Innovation and creativity. Financial acumen/debt management. Market/Competitive Analysis. Technical knowledge would be an advantage.
