About the Role Employee Navigator is looking for a curious, competitive Sales Development Representative to help start conversations that turn into new business. You’ll be the first voice many brokers and partners hear from us, reaching out, learning about their business, and setting up meetings for our Account Executives. This is a great fit for someone who likes picking up the phone, enjoys the hunt, and wants to build a career in sales with real coaching behind them.
Here’s What You’ll Do Day to Day:
Reach out to insurance brokers and partners through calls and emails to spark interest in Employee Navigator. Own research to build our database of contacts to reach out to and educate on Employee Navigator’s value prop. Ask good questions to understand what a prospect needs and whether we’re a fit before handing them off. Keep the CRM accurate and up to date so the team always knows where things stand. Learn the benefits and HR space well enough to speak confidently about the problems we solve. Take coaching seriously through call reviews and 1:1s, and keep getting sharper every week.
Qualifications:
0 to 2 years of experience in sales or another role where you talked to people all day. Comfortable making cold calls and hearing “no” without losing momentum. Clear, confident communicator by phone and in writing. Organized and self-motivated, with the ability to manage a high volume of activity. Coachable, curious, and eager to grow into an Account Executive role. HCM or group benefits experience is a bonus, not a requirement. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
