Support institutional clients, accounts and transactions while maintaining a high standard of service. Work closely with Sales and Trading, Operations and other internal stakeholders to coordinate activity and resolve issues. Maintain appropriate operational controls and ensure activity is completed in line with established policies, procedures and regulatory requirements. Identify opportunities to improve workflows, controls, processes and operational documentation. Maintain clear and accurate procedures and support the implementation of operational improvements. Build effective working relationships across the Capital Markets business and wider Operations teams. Provide informal guidance and support to newer team members where appropriate. Skills/Qualifications Experience within capital markets, brokerage operations, trade support or a related operational environment. Good understanding of the trade lifecycle, particularly post-trade processing, settlement and reconciliation. Experience supporting brokerage or capital markets transactions is desirable. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate and resolve operational issues. Excellent attention to detail, particularly when reviewing transactions, positions, cash movements and reconciliations. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and time-sensitive activities. Good understanding of operational risk, controls and the importance of following established policies and procedures. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with Trading, Sales, Operations and other stakeholders. Comfortable working independently on assigned responsibilities while contributing effectively within a team environment. Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to practical solutions. Knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements within capital markets operations would be beneficial.
