Fixed Income Division - Associate/Vice President, Bulks & Metals Trading (Singapore)

We’re seeking someone to join our team as an Associate/Vice President, Bulks & Metals Trading.

In the Fixed Income division, we work in fast-paced and constantly changing global markets to assess and manage risk, trade securities, manage relationships with clients, and structure and execute innovative transactions.

What you’ll do in the role:

Facilitate market-making and client flows in bulks and base metals while managing risk and maximizing profit Price and execute trades across derivative products, taking direct responsibility for risk and position management Read market information, flows and price behavior closely to analyze situations and form trading views Work closely with Sales and the regional team to formulate trade ideas and deliver solutions to clients Manage trading desk administration, including trade bookings and amendments Identify and follow up on aging fails and promptly escalate to Management Monitor physical market fundamentals (supply and demand, freight, inventories, China demand and policy) and their impact on the book

What you’ll bring to the role:

5 to 8 years of relevant experience across metals products, including bulks and metals Direct front-office trading or risk-management experience Exposure to commodity derivatives (futures, options, swaps, forwards), or a combination of derivatives and physical trading Quantitative skills and a strong understanding of commodity markets and pricing drivers Able to articulate the determining factors and inputs behind outputs expressed as numbers Data management skills; Analytical, articulate and strong attention to detail Strong communication skills Highly motivated, with a desire to work together in a team Preferred skills

Experience in financial derivatives trading with exposure to Physical trading Background in a major commodities trading house, investment bank or commodity portfolio manager Coding: Python; Hands-on experience applying AI tools to trading workflows, such as automating Excel/data tasks, summarizing market and news flow, or building simple scripts (e.g., Python) for analysis and reporting
