About the job
The Opportunity: As Executive Assistant to the CEO, you will play a central role in helping the Executive Office operate with pace, focus and discipline. Acting as a trusted extension of the CEO, you will combine first-class executive support with ownership of Board and governance activity, executive reporting, communications and priority business projects.
This is a broad and highly visible role requiring sound judgement, absolute discretion and the confidence to work with Board members, investors, customers, partners and colleagues across Wifinity.
The role will be based primarily from our King's Cross office, with an expectation of being in the office four days each week and flexibility to provide office-based support when business needs require it.
About us: We’re a UK-based managed internet provider delivering B2C & B2B connectivity solutions for organisations and their customers.
At Wifinity, we’re passionate about providing the most reliable, high-speed broadband and site-wide WiFi networks for modern living. We focus on delivering secure, ultra-fast connectivity that meets the demands of today’s digital lifestyles. Whether in military accommodation, student housing, holiday parks, multi-tenant properties, or retirement communities.
We believe in delivering that experience sustainably. As a responsible broadband provider, we’re committed to reducing our environmental footprint through energy-efficient infrastructure, smart power management, and ongoing improvements.
Key Areas of Focus: You will enable the CEO and Executive Team to operate effectively by protecting priorities, maintaining a strong operating rhythm and ensuring that decisions and actions are followed through.
Your day-to-day role will consist of the following responsibilities:
Act as a trusted extension of the CEO, managing a complex diary, inbox, priorities, travel and meeting preparation with sound judgement and discretion. Own the Board and governance cycle, including calendars, agendas, paper coordination and quality control, meeting materials, action tracking and committee support where required. Maintain the CEO and Executive Team operating rhythm across weekly ExCo meetings, monthly business reviews, quarterly Board cycles, annual planning and investor or shareholder updates. Coordinate executive reporting and KPI activity, gathering inputs, maintaining reporting timetables, tracking strategic objectives and following up overdue actions. Prepare high-quality briefings, research and meeting packs covering customers, partners, investors, competitors, business development opportunities and potential M&A activity. Draft internal communications, correspondence and LinkedIn content in the CEO’s voice, ensuring messages are clear, accurate and appropriate for the audience. Coordinate key stakeholder engagements, events and meetings, ensuring the CEO is fully briefed and all decisions and follow-up actions are captured and progressed. Support priority business projects and ESG initiatives, coordinating activity across teams, monitoring delivery and escalating risks where appropriate. Oversee day-to-day office management and workplace experience for the King’s Cross office, alongside a small amount of diary and travel support for the wider Executive Team. Manage financial administration including corporate expenses, purchase orders and invoices, while anticipating issues and resolving them before they have an adverse impact. You will deliver all set targets to contribute to a successful business function in line with the strategic objectives (this is designed to cover all sub responsibilities). Undertake any other duties aligned to the scope and level of the role. About you: You will be an experienced Executive Assistant who is comfortable operating at CEO and Board level in a fast-moving business. You combine exceptional organisation with judgement, initiative and the confidence to challenge constructively. You are calm under pressure, highly discreet and able to anticipate what is needed before being asked.
