About the job

Concord Servicing is a technology-driven leader in loan administration, payment processing, portfolio analysis, reporting, and delinquency management with decades of industry expertise. As we launch Link-our groundbreaking new platform-we’re building a dedicated in-house QA team to ensure exceptional quality and reliability for our clients. From core platform features to seamless client migrations, our QA function is critical to our platform’s success.

The QA Engineer is a hands-on technical role responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of Concord’s Link platform. Reporting to the QA Manager, you’ll test core features and client-facing workflows, validate data integrity during migrations, design and maintain automated test suites (Playwright framework and regression testing), and collaborate with developers, implementation, and configuration teams to identify and resolve issues before they impact clients. This position plays a key role in delivering a seamless experience to our user base and is essential to Link’s successful adoption.

Responsibilities:

Testing and Automation (Primary Focus)

Test new features, changes, and product scripts in Link (payments, fees, installments, deferments, and statements) before they reach clients. Build scenario-based tests that verify balances and payment allocations for common and edge-case loan activity. Maintain the automated Playwright (C#) test suite and keep the regression suite that runs on every pull request reliable. Use AI tools to speed up test creation and debugging, and review AI-generated tests to confirm they catch real problems. Write clear bug reports and track defects through to resolution.

Client Migrations

Validate client data migrated from our legacy system into Link. Write SQL queries to compare balances, payments, and account details across environments. Document test plans and results so business and UAT stakeholders can review them.

Collaboration (Supporting Role)

Work with developers, implementation, and configuration teams to understand requirements and changes. Review requirements and acceptance criteria early to identify gaps and risks. Communicate testing progress, issues, and results clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Requirements

Experience with Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or a similar automation tool (required). Hands-on experience using AI tools such as Claude or GitHub Copilot to write, review, and debug tests and code (required). 4+ years of experience in software QA, including test automation. Working knowledge of C#, SQL, and JavaScript. Strong manual and exploratory testing skills. Experience with data migration testing, API testing, or GitHub Actions a plus. Strong English communication skills (verbal and written).
