Join Our Team! We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Housekeeping Porter to join our environmental services team at a long-term care nursing facility in Staten Island, NY.

Responsibilities Maintain the cleanliness of resident rooms, hallways, offices, dining areas, and common areas Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect assigned areas throughout the facility Collect and dispose of trash and recyclable materials Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies Assist with floor care, including buffing and polishing, when needed Follow infection control procedures and OSHA safety guidelines Respond promptly to housekeeping requests from nursing and administrative staff Report maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate department Help maintain a clean, sanitary, and comfortable environment for residents and visitors Requirements

Qualifications Previous housekeeping or porter experience in a nursing home, hospital, rehabilitation center, or healthcare facility preferred Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail Reliable, punctual, and professional Ability to lift, bend, push, pull, and stand for extended periods Excellent work ethic and positive attitude Benefits
