General Superintendent / Project Superintendent

POSITION OVERVIEW

Confidential Oklahoma City-area heavy civil construction opportunity for an experienced General Superintendent / Project Superintendent to support construction and field operations. The role is intended for a proven field leader who can help coordinate projects, crews, resources, and execution while strengthening the broader operations team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide field leadership and operational support across active heavy civil construction projects. Coordinate superintendents, foremen, crews, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and project priorities. Support project planning, scheduling, production, quality, safety, and execution from mobilization through completion. Work closely with project management and operations leadership to resolve field issues and maintain project momentum. Monitor manpower and equipment utilization and help align resources across projects. Reinforce accountability for safety, productivity, workmanship, schedule, and cost awareness. Develop and mentor field leaders while helping establish consistent operating expectations across crews. Communicate project status, constraints, resource needs, and operational risks to leadership. PREFERRED BACKGROUND

Significant heavy civil construction field leadership experience as a Superintendent, General Superintendent, Project Superintendent, or comparable role. Experience coordinating multiple crews, scopes, or projects and working closely with project management and operations leadership. Background in roadway, earthwork, underground utilities, site development, concrete, asphalt, or related civil construction. Strong knowledge of field production, manpower/equipment planning, safety, scheduling, and construction execution. Demonstrated ability to lead people, solve field problems, communicate across functions, and improve operational consistency. COMPENSATION
