POSITION SUMMARY:

The Mini Bar Attendant is responsible for the daily servicing, replenishment, presentation, and accurate charging of guest room mini bars. This role supports the Rooms Division by ensuring mini bars are consistently stocked, clean, organized, and presented according to Hotel Granduca standards. The Mini Bar Attendant works closely with the Rooms Division Supervisor to maintain appropriate inventory levels, communicate ordering needs, and ensure accurate posting of guest consumption.

POSITION ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

· Service and restock mini bars daily in checked-out and stayover guest rooms according to established procedures.

· Inspect mini bars for consumed, missing, damaged, or expired items and replenish products to established par levels.

· Accurately post mini bar charges to the appropriate guest folio in a timely manner.

· Ensure mini bars, baskets, glassware, and surrounding presentation areas are clean, organized, and guest-ready.

· Maintain consistency in product placement and presentation according to Hotel Granduca standards.

· Partner with the Rooms Division Supervisor to monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment and ordering needs.

· Assist with receiving, organizing, rotating, and storing mini bar inventory.

· Monitor expiration dates and follow proper product rotation procedures to minimize waste.

· Maintain accurate daily records of products stocked, consumed, charged, and replenished.

· Communicate discrepancies, maintenance concerns, unusual room conditions, or guest requests promptly to the appropriate supervisor.

· Coordinate closely with Housekeeping and Front Office to prioritize departures, stayovers, room status changes, and guest needs.

· Respect guest privacy and follow all hotel procedures when entering occupied guest rooms.

· Maintain cleanliness and organization of mini bar storage and preparation areas.

· Assist the Rooms Division with additional operational duties as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience:

Previous hotel, housekeeping, rooms, or inventory experience preferred but not required. Previous hotel luxury experience preferred but not required. Technical Skills:

Comfortable handling basic inventory counts and guest charges. Personal Skills:

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently while maintaining productivity and accuracy. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to always maintain discretion and respect guest privacy. Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to push or maneuver a stocking cart throughout guest room floors. Ability to bend, reach, lift, and carry products throughout the shift. Ability to lift approximately 25-30 pounds as needed.

Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
