Stormwater GIS Data Collector / Stormwater Field Technician

Job Description:

Overview:

As a key member of a survey crew, the Rodman provides essential support to ensure the successful completion of land surveying projects under the direction of the Party Chief.

Responsibilities:

Work with crew member to evaluate conditions of storm drains Operates specialized electronic equipment that collects and transmits condition assessment data for stormwater drainage systems Operate, inspect and maintain various equipment / tools associated with work activities Use of GPS to locate storm structures Conduct field work to collect data Collect data for projects Perform moderate manual tasks associated with work activities

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED certification required Excellent communication skills Self-motivated, highly reliable and great work ethic Exposure to outdoor environments Pre-employment drug testing and background check is required as a condition of employment Must have a valid Drivers License
