Electrician - Panel Building

Key Responsibilities

Assembly and wiring of electrical control panels Work from schematic diagrams, wiring drawings, and panel layouts Install and wire components such as: Relays Contactors Terminal blocks PLC components (where applicable) Carry out panel testing, fault finding, and modifications Ensure all builds meet quality and safety standards Maintain neat and organised wiring to a high standard Work closely with supervisors and engineering teams Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment

Requirements

For Qualified Electricians

Fully qualified electrician (Irish or recognised equivalent) Experience working in a panel shop or similar environment Strong ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics High attention to detail and pride in workmanship Experience with control panel wiring and assembly

For Apprentice Electricians

Currently a 2nd, 3rd or 4th year apprentice P anel wiring, panel shop, or switchgear experience is highly desirable Willingness to learn and develop technical skills Strong work ethic and reliability
