Accountant / Bookkeeper | Northshore, LA

Our client, a well-established CPA firm on the Northshore, is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper / Payroll Professional to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a small firm environment where client service, accuracy, and teamwork are valued. The position will support a variety of small business clients with bookkeeping, payroll, and related accounting functions.

Responsibilities:

Process payroll and payroll tax reports for multiple clients Perform bank and account reconciliations Maintain general ledger activity and bookkeeping records Prepare sales tax filings and other recurring reports Assist clients with day-to-day accounting questions Support accountants and CPAs with client accounting services Qualifications:

Previous bookkeeping and payroll experience required Experience working in a CPA firm or client accounting environment preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel What You'll Find:
