· Drive infrastructure automation, infrastructure as code, policy as code, self-service provisioning, configuration compliance, and standardized hybrid cloud deployment patterns.

· Define and report service-level objectives, reliability indicators, capacity trends, risk, technical debt, asset lifecycle, cloud consumption, and unit-cost metrics.

· Lead major incident response and root-cause analysis for infrastructure events, ensuring corrective actions are assigned, tracked, and validated.

· Partner across teams to deliver secure, supportable, cost-effective cloud infrastructure solutions.

· Manage strategic vendors, managed service providers, licensing, contracts, budgets, forecasts, and optimization commitments.

· Maintain tested recovery plans, operational documentation, runbooks, escalation paths, and audit-ready evidence.

Requirements:

· Strong people leadership and operational management skills, including prioritization, performance management, service ownership, and executive communication.

· Cloud architect-level understanding of Azure, AWS, or GCP; virtualization; Windows and Linux; compute, storage, backup, networking, identity, monitoring, security, resilience, automation, and cost management.

· Hands-on proficiency with cloud architecture review, hybrid cloud operations, infrastructure troubleshooting, automation, scripting, cloud governance controls, backup and recovery practices, monitoring, and production support.

· Practical understanding of cloud reference architectures, landing zones, governance, security controls, resilience patterns, disaster recovery, FinOps, infrastructure as code, workload migration, modernization, and IT service management.

· Ability to evaluate cloud solution designs, identify architectural risks, recommend tradeoffs, and guide implementation teams toward secure, resilient, scalable, and operationally supportable outcomes.

· Ability to collaborate effectively with IT Systems and Enterprise Architecture to align solution designs, operational standards, infrastructure patterns, integration requirements, and platform roadmaps.

· Ability to manage complex incidents, technical risk, capacity constraints, vendor performance, and competing business priorities.

· Strong analytical, financial, negotiation, documentation, and continuous-improvement capabilities.

Education & Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

· 8+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, cloud architecture, data center infrastructure, systems engineering, or technology operations.
