Job Description:
The IT Systems Analyst is responsible for designing, testing, implementing, and troubleshooting IT applications and for ensuring the availability, stability, and reliability of those applications. They monitor system performance, identify, and resolve technical issues, and ensure efficient operation of all clinical systems. The analyst also provides technical support to end-users and collaborates with other IT teams to resolve complex technical problems related to clinical systems.
This opening is specifically for the Digital Imaging team and will support enterprise clinical imaging applications and workflows. Responsibilities include supporting PACS, image exchange, dictation and reporting solutions, and integrations between imaging modalities, Epic, and other clinical systems. The analyst will troubleshoot image availability and workflow issues, assist with system implementations, upgrades, and testing, and work closely with radiologists, technologists, and other clinical and IT partners. Experience with radiology workflows, PACS, DICOM, HL7, or other clinical imaging technologies is preferred but not required. Participation in the team’s after-hours on-call rotation is required.Education: ▪ Preferred: Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, a related field, or equivalent experience. Experience: ▪ Required: 2 years of experience in healthcare clinical workflows and/or IT support, including experience with nursing, provider, or ancillary department technologies OR Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, a related field. Skills: • Basic understanding of healthcare operations and clinical workflows • Basic knowledge of inter-related solutions and IT systems knowledge with the aligned application domain. Develops and maintains knowledge of related IT systems as well as supporting business and IT domains. • Basic analytical and problem-solving skills; attention to detail. • Good communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work as part of a team. • Willingness to learn and adapt to the healthcare environment.
