Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Embedded Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, integrate, and verify embedded software for aerospace and industrial applications.
The ideal candidate will have strong C programming skills, experience developing software for microcontrollers and embedded hardware, and a background working in regulated environments where software reliability, safety, and certification requirements are critical.
This position requires hands-on experience with embedded software development, including requirements definition, software design, integration testing, verification, and compliance with industry standards such as DO-178, ISO 26262, EN 50128, IEC 61508, or IEC 62304.
The selected candidate will support the development of fuel measurement, fuel management, and inerting systems for commercial and defense aerospace applications. The engineer will work closely with systems engineering and electronic hardware engineering teams to develop, qualify, and certify mission-critical embedded technologies.
This role combines technical development with project leadership responsibilities. Approximately 75% of the position will focus on hands-on software development and engineering activities, while 25% will involve project management, technical leadership, and execution oversight.
Candidates must have demonstrated experience owning and leading engineering projects from initial planning through development, execution, and completion.
