Sr. Director of Facilities

Job Description:

The Senior Facilities Director is responsible for leading and optimizing maintenance and facilities operations across a portfolio of multifamily luxury apartment communities. This individual will develop and implement a portfolio-wide maintenance strategy that ensures operational excellence, safety, and resident satisfaction. The ideal candidate is a Certified Pool Operator and HVAC-certified professional with a proven track record of managing large-scale property maintenance teams in the multifamily luxury housing industry.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Minimum of 10 years of multifamily property maintenance experience, including regional portfolio. Experience working with or supporting high-end clientele or luxury properties Develop and execute a comprehensive, portfolio-wide maintenance plan with defined standards, service metrics, and inspection protocols. Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and environmental requirements. Drive operational efficiency and cost savings through preventive maintenance programs and capital planning. Oversee daily maintenance and facilities operations across multiple multifamily communities. Monitor property performance metrics and ensure consistent service delivery across all locations. Coordinate with property management, construction, and development teams on renovation and capital improvement projects. Recruit, train, and mentor on-site maintenance supervisors and technicians. Develop and manage professional development programs to enhance technical and leadership skills. Implement performance tracking systems to measure and improve team productivity and effectiveness.
