About the job

Principal, Growth Launch & Commercial Enablement (Contract)

We’re hiring a senior operator to help newly acquired businesses and key growth initiatives ramp quickly and sustainably. This role is all about turning strategy into traction on the ground-earning the trust of founders and teams, removing friction, and making sure commercial potential turns into real results.

You’ll work side-by-side with our Chief Growth Officer and leaders across the organization to stand up and scale cross-sell, revenue, and integration motions. This is a highly visible, hands-on role with significant autonomy and direct access to executives.

Role Overview

As Principal, Growth Launch & Commercial Enablement, you will:

Lead activation efforts for select acquired firms and strategic growth initiatives. Translate high-level deal and growth objectives into clear, actionable plans. Build credibility with founders, sellers, and legacy teams, balancing respect for “what’s working” with clarity on where we’re going. Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure firms are commercially ready, integrated, and set up to cross-serve the full portfolio of offerings. You will not manage a team directly; instead, you’ll drive outcomes through influence, clarity, and execution excellence.

What You’ll Do

Growth Launch & Integration Convert acquisition and growth strategies into specific activation goals, roadmaps, and milestones. Serve as a trusted partner to founders and firm leadership during ramp and transition, helping them navigate change without losing what makes their business special. Co-design go-forward plans with legacy teams that protect existing client relationships while opening up new revenue and cross-sell opportunities. Lead activation for assigned firms, orchestrating cross-functional work across Operations, Finance, Technology, HR, Marketing, and Client teams. Diagnose current capabilities (people, processes, data, technology) and recommend pragmatic activation approaches. Ensure firms are ready to execute-workflows, governance, enablement, compliance steps, and operating cadences are defined and in place. Proactively surface risks, dependencies, and gaps and drive practical solutions. Cross-Sell & Commercial Enablement Implement and iterate cross-sell playbooks that attach additional services (e.g., wealth management or adjacent offerings) to existing client relationships. Partner with Client Development, Marketing, and front-line Relationship Managers to shape positioning, talk tracks, and enablement. Make sure sales processes and enablement assets are properly embedded into CRM and supporting systems. Track where cross-sell motions stall or break down and recommend improvements to increase speed, consistency, and win rates. Analytics, Tracking & Decision Support Own core analytics for your portfolio of firms: activation performance, ramp curves, and value realization. Gather data directly from systems and stakeholders (including Relationship Managers) where reporting is incomplete or imperfect. Build and maintain clear, lightweight dashboards and trackers to monitor performance from ramp through steady state. Use data to drive prioritization, sequencing, and course corrections. Deliver concise written and verbal updates for Growth and executive leadership. Cross-Functional Coordination Work closely with Operations, Finance, HR, Technology, and CRM teams to ensure a smooth integration experience. Help define roles, handoffs, and operating rhythms during launch and stabilization periods. Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes in a way that builds confidence and alignment across stakeholders. Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred. 8–15+ years of experience in: Management consulting, PE-backed / investor-backed operating roles, Growth strategy, revenue operations, or Complex go-to-market / commercial execution. Proven track record leading cross-functional initiatives in high-growth, evolving environments. Strong analytical skills; comfortable building scrappy but reliable tracking in imperfect data environments. Executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and front-line commercial teams. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including structured problem solving and executive-level storytelling. Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms, sales workflows, analytics tools, and Excel/Google Sheets. Nice to Have

Background in financial services, healthcare, or multi-service / multi-product platforms. Experience working in post-acquisition or integration environments. Prior exposure to cross-sell programs or multi-line product expansion. Other Requirements

Willingness to travel regularly during launch and integration phases. Contract Details

Initial 6-month contract with potential extension based on business needs. Competitive contract rate aligned with experience and impact. High-autonomy, high-impact position with direct exposure to executive leadership and the firm’s most critical growth initiatives.
