Project Engineer - Quality

Summary:

Our award-winning client is seeking a Project Engineer - Quality to join their team.As a Project Engineer - Quality you will be responsible for driving strategic and short-term projects to improve customer-experienced quality and overall plant performance. You will lead cross-functional teams, train associates on quality systems, and collaborate with suppliers and product development teams to deliver exceptional quality and reduce costs.

Responsibilities:

Lead and execute projects to enhance unit failure rate, warranty costs, yield, and customer satisfaction metrics. Serve as the primary quality representative for new product development, ensuring manufacturability, process capability, and inspection and test requirements are met. Identify and resolve emerging field issues through effective cross-functional collaboration and communication. Implement cost savings initiatives and track their success. Utilize problem-solving methodologies to drive process improvements. Transition inspection processes to paperless reporting. Develop reports, make data-driven recommendations, and initiate corrective actions. Support the implementation and maintenance of the Companies industry. Serve as a quality representative for new product development and continuous product improvement activities. Contribute to the plant's ISO certification through internal audits. Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a technical field (preferred). Minimum of 4 years of quality experience. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the MS Office Suite. Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodology training (desired). Power App/Power BI development skills (desired). Project and/or program management experience (desired). Skills:
