Financial Reporting Analyst – Europe

About the role Join our Europe Finance team and play a key part in the regulatory and statutory reporting of Hiscox S.A. (HSA). You'll support Luxembourg and wider European reporting, helping ensure financial information is accurate, timely and compliant.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to consolidate their finance career and grow into regulatory reporting within a multinational insurance environment - full training and support provided. We're looking for someone eager to learn, not the finished article.

What you'll do Support Luxembourg and European regulatory & statutory reporting, filings and submissions. Help prepare and analyse financial information, reconciliations and reporting templates. Contribute to strong financial controls, governance and process improvements. Work closely with Finance teams (Reporting, Controlling, Accounting, FP&A), auditors and regulators. Support month-end activities, audit requests and ad-hoc projects. Who you are A motivated finance professional (c. 2–4 years' experience) with strong analytical skills, great attention to detail and a genuine willingness to learn. You work well under pressure and enjoy a fast-paced, international environment.

You'll ideally have:

Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or similar. Solid grasp of accounting principles (balance sheet & P&L, IFRS basis). Strong Excel skills; Power BI an advantage. Fluent English (C1+).

Nice to have (but not essential - we'll train you):

Exposure to insurance accounting, Lux GAAP and/or Solvency II. Experience with ERP systems (e.g. Oracle) and multinational environments. Work with amazing people and be part of a unique culture
