methods of payment, settlement, and number sequences.

• Configure and support Order-to-Cash: free-text invoices, customer payments, collections, credit

management, interest and collection letters, and aging.

• Configure and support Procure-to-Pay: vendor invoices, invoice matching (two- and three-way),

invoice approval workflows, payment proposals, and vendor payment journals.

• Manage bank integration and reconciliation, including electronic payment formats and

Advanced Bank Reconciliation.

• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT (FTA) and prepare the system for the UAE e-invoicing

• Run requirement workshops with Finance, document business processes (as-is / to-be), and

• Support month-end and year-end close for AR and AP subledgers, and resolve reconciliation

differences with the GL.

2. Technical – Customization & Development

• Develop and maintain X++ extensions: new forms, tables, classes, chain-of-command

extensions, and event handlers, without over-layering.

• Build and modify SSRS reports and Electronic Reporting (ER) formats for invoices, statements,

payment files, and regulatory reports.

• Create and extend data entities for imports, exports, and integration.

• Configure workflows, security roles, duties, and privileges for AR/AP users.

• Manage code through Azure DevOps: version control, builds, deployable packages, and releases

across Dev, UAT, and Production through Lifecycle Services (LCS) or the Power Platform admin

center.

• Write technical design documents (TDDs) and follow Microsoft best practices and the Chamber's

coding standards.

3. AI Agents & Automation

• Implement and configure Copilot capabilities in D365 Finance, such as collections assistance,

customer summaries, and vendor communication.

• Build custom AI agents with Microsoft Copilot Studio and Azure AI Foundry, for example: invoice

capture and coding, payment status inquiries, dunning follow-up, and vendor query handling.

• Automate repetitive AR/AP tasks with Power Automate and AI Builder (document processing,

approvals, notifications).

• Define guardrails for AI use: data access, approval steps, audit trail, and human review of

financial actions.

• Measure agent outcomes (time saved, error rate, adoption) and report results to management.

4. Integration – D365 CRM & Custom Applications

• Design and build integrations between D365 F&O and D365 CRM (Customer Engagement) using

dual-write, virtual entities, or Dataverse, covering customers, invoices, payments, and account

balances.

• Integrate F&O with the Chamber's custom applications (membership, certificate of origin, eservices

portals) through OData, custom services, the Data Management Framework, Business

Events, and Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, Service Bus, API Management).

• Build and monitor batch jobs and recurring integrations; handle errors, retries, and data

reconciliation between systems.

• Expose AR/AP data to Power BI and Microsoft Fabric (Synapse Link / Fabric Link) for dashboards

and reporting.

• Work with SQL Server and Dataverse teams on data mapping, migration, and data quality.

5. Support, Testing & Knowledge Transfer

• Provide L2/L3 support for AR/AP and integration incidents within agreed SLAs.

• Plan and run unit, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing; maintain test scripts.

• Assess and apply Microsoft One Version service updates and validate their impact on

customizations.

• Train finance users and key users, and write user guides and SOPs.

• Coordinate with Microsoft partners and vendors on enhancements and escalations.
