What will you do?
A day in the life of a Senior Manager, GTM Operations at Timberland looks a little like this.
Reporting to the Head of GTM Strategy and Operations, this role will lead the operational execution of the global brand GTM process, translating strategy into clear calendars, milestone discipline, governance, and cross-functional alignment across brand and regional teams. Key responsibilities include calendar and milestone management, process improvement, issue resolution, and readiness tracking to help deliver market-ready products on time. This role serves as a critical GTM operations partner, ensuring brand and regional collaboration is structured, visible, and consistently executed.
Let’s break down that day-in-the-life a bit more.
Manage the seasonal global GTM calendar and processes, with product, marketing and commercial counterparts, aligning cross-regional and cross-functional timelines. Track milestone progress, proactively manage bottlenecks, create contingency plans, and solve operational challenges as they arise, ensuring adherence to the "One VF" way via templates and process governance. Ensure teams deliver high-quality work at each milestone and that key decisions are made at the right level and time. Provide reporting and analytics to drive data-informed decision-making in support of seasonal GTM execution. Own governance around GTM data quality, ensuring milestone, calendar, and product information is accurate, consistent, and reliable across systems and teams. Identify process gaps and implement solutions to streamline workflows. Work with GTM leaders to connect operational priorities with overarching GTM strategies. Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams to build and maintain the multi-seasonal collaboration calendar. What do you need to succeed?
