Job Description:

Provide protection to TD colleagues, customers, and the TD Brand from social engineering threats across email, digital, voice, messaging, and online channels. The role operates within established information security, operational risk, and regulatory frameworks while helping drive continuous improvement of processes, controls, reporting, and threat defense capabilities.

Job Description

Perform advanced analysis and investigation of phishing and social engineering threats targeting the Bank and its customers/clients, including impersonation, credential theft, Brand abuse, and business email compromise. Support and execute phishing defense operations by scoping threats, identifying impacted users or systems, and recommending mitigation actions. Monitor, investigate, and respond to threats targeting TD customers and the TD brand, including phishing websites, fraudulent domains, social media abuse, spoofing, impersonation, smishing and vishing campaigns. Partner with Messaging, Fraud, CSOC, Help Desk, and other stakeholders to coordinate response and containment activities. Analyze phishing campaign trends and contribute insights to improve detection logic, controls, and response playbooks. Conduct and support malware triage related to email‑ and web‑delivered threats and identify patterns in delivery methods to inform preventative control improvements. Analyze suspicious attachments, links, and indicators of compromise and determine appropriate escalation paths. Produce and contribute to operational reporting, threat analysis, and metrics to measure effectiveness of controls and response activities. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency, and quality through process enhancements or automation. Participate in projects and initiatives of moderate to high complexity related to information security and threat operations. Qualifications / Experience & Education

University degree is desired but not required Information security certification / accreditation an asset 3-5 years of relevant experience Core Competencies

Experience in cybersecurity operations, threat detection, incident response, or information security controls. Strong knowledge of phishing, social engineering, and malware threats. Proven ability to independently execute complex investigations within established security frameworks. Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non‑technical teams.
