About the Team
You'll be joining the Technical Consulting team. We own the end-to-end build of the technical connections between a customer's Workday system and the other systems in their business. Using Workday's own enterprise integration technology, we turn a customer's integration needs into a working design, then build, test, and launch it in production.
Beyond individual projects, our team also guides customers through broader conversations about integration architecture, system security, and how systems safely confirm who is accessing them. Each consultant typically supports several customer projects at once and has a lot of say in how they plan and run that work week to week. It's a team that blends deep technical problem-solving with real ownership over how the work gets done - and right now, we're rethinking what that work looks like as AI changes it. About the Role
The work of an integration consultant is changing fast. AI is reshaping how integrations get designed, built, and delivered, and we're looking for someone to help lead that shift for our team. As a Senior Principal Technical Consultant, you won't just keep up with that change - you'll help define it, shaping what a modern, AI-supported integration practice looks like and bringing that model to life in how projects are run day to day.
In this role, you will:
Help the team rethink how integration work gets delivered, bringing new AI-era tools and approaches into everyday project work Lead the design, build, test, and deployment of complex integrations between a customer's Workday system and their other enterprise systems Convert a customer's integration requirements into sound architectural decisions within Workday Guide project discussions on integration architecture, application security, and system authentication Act as a technical guide to other consultants on your projects, sharing knowledge on architecture and ways of working Partner with engagement managers and integration leads, keeping them informed of project status and surfacing risks early Cooperate with management and other teams in applying new technologies and methodologies in real projects About You
Basic Qualifications

Our Approach to Flexible Work
With Flex Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote. Our approach enables our teams to deepen connections, maintain a strong community, and do their best work. We know that flexibility can take shape in many ways, so rather than a number of required days in-office each week, we simply spend at least half (50%) of our time each quarter in the office or in the field with our customers, prospects, and partners (depending on role). This means you'll have the freedom to create a flexible schedule that caters to your business, team, and personal needs, while being intentional to make the most of time spent together. Those in our remote "home office" roles also have the opportunity to come together in our offices for important moments that matter.
