JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Registered Dietitian

Location: Burnet Campus, 3333 Burnet Ave., Cincinnati OH 45229

Status: 32 hours/week during the Monday-Friday work week.

What you will do as a Reg. Dietitian:

Provide personalized nutrition care: Assess each patient’s nutritional needs and develop practical care plans that reflect their medical needs, growth and development, family values, culture, and available resources.

Educate and empower families: Provide nutrition counseling and education that help patients and caregivers confidently follow the nutrition plan at home. Monitor progress: Evaluate each patient’s response to the nutrition care plan, revise recommendations as needed and use current research to support high-quality practice. Work as part of the care team: Partner with physicians, nurses, allied health professionals, and internal and community resources to coordinate care and improve outcomes for patients and families. Support specialized programs: Provide medical nutrition therapy and nutrition expertise for assigned patients, program areas, division initiatives, and community-based efforts such as healthy weight and healthy eating programs. Share your expertise: Explain pediatric nutrition principles to nutrition staff, care team members, and community partners, and help orient and educate new dietitians. Guide and develop others: Orient, supervise, and direct diet technicians and interns, as applicable. Grow professionally: Participate in committees, work groups, process-improvement activities, and learning opportunities that strengthen the department, hospital, and profession. Support responsible operations: Complete productivity records, enter charges promptly, contribute to team projects, and take ownership of assigned work.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in a related field 0+ years of work experience in a related job discipline Registered Dietician, Licensed Dietitian in the state of Ohio
