Compensation: $900 per day
Schedule: 3–4 days per month (flexible; shared coverage available)

Position Summary CMC is expanding services with Mercy LIFE PA and seeking a compassionate Part‑Time Optometrist to provide routine eye care across three Philadelphia‑area centers. Each location requires approximately 1–2 visits per month, and coverage may be split among multiple providers.
This role is ideal for an Optometrist looking to supplement their current schedule while delivering high‑quality care to geriatric and underserved populations in well‑organized, supportive clinical environments.
Key Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive eye exams for geriatric and underserved patients
Diagnose, manage, and treat common ocular conditions
Prescribe corrective lenses and collaborate with on‑site clinical staff
Provide patient and caregiver education on preventive eye care
Maintain a respectful, patient‑centered experience in each facility
Qualifications
Doctor of Optometry (OD)
Active Pennsylvania Optometry License
Experience with geriatric populations or mobile care preferred
Strong communication skills, professionalism, and empathy
Comfortable working independently in facility‑based settings
Schedule & Structure
Approximately 3–4 days per month total
Weekday scheduling with flexibility
Typical hours: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Coverage may be shared among multiple providers
