Fence Installer

Key Responsibilities:

Install residential, commercial, and industrial fencing systems according to drawings and specifications. Measure and mark fence lines, post locations, gates, and other components. Dig post holes and install fence posts securely using appropriate tools and equipment. Install different types of fencing, including steel, aluminum, timber, chain-link, and mesh fencing. Cut, assemble, align, and secure fence panels, rails, posts, and gates. Use hand and power tools safely and effectively. Ensure fences are level, straight, properly aligned, and securely installed. Install and adjust gates, hinges, locks, and other hardware. Carry out repairs, replacements, and maintenance of existing fencing. Follow site safety procedures and comply with relevant workplace regulations. Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in good condition. Work effectively as part of a team and communicate with supervisors and other trades. Requirements

Requirements:

Previous experience in fence installation, construction, fabrication, or a similar trade. Ability to read basic drawings and measurements. Good practical and mechanical skills. Ability to use hand and power tools. Physically fit and comfortable with outdoor and manual work. Good attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work at heights or in varying weather conditions when required. Valid driver’s license is an advantage. Relevant trade qualifications or certifications are an advantage.
