Summer Technician

The Opportunity:

Join us as a fixed term Summer Technician and become a key player in keeping people safe on the road. In this hands-on role, you will be supporting our Auto Glazing team to repair and recalibrate vehicle glass using cutting-edge tools and technology-delivering top-quality workmanship every time.

You’ll also be the face of our service, working directly with customers to provide expert advice, offer value-added products, and ensure every interaction is a great one. Your commitment to exceptional customer service will make a real difference.

Location: Smith&Smith Pukekohe Hours: 30 hours, rostered across Monday - Sunday Fixed term: December 2026 - March 2027 What we’re looking for

Motivated people with a passion for hands-on work, and a genuine interest in advancing technical skills with a keen eye for detail. No prior Autoglass repair and replacement experience is necessary as we provide comprehensive training. A passion for exceptional customer service. The ability to learn new technology and systems quickly. Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to upsell value-added products and services. Physical capability to repetitively lift heavy items (up to 25kg) during a normal working day. A clean driver's license (restricted or full class) is a minimum requirement. You must have unrestricted rights to work in New Zealand. The preferred candidate will be required to undergo a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening test. What we offer
