Job Summary

Seeking a Cloud Software Engineer 1 to support the development and deployment of enterprise cloud-based solutions within a mission-driven environment This position contributes to the design, development, integration, and maintenance of scalable cloud-native applications supporting large-scale compute and data analytics platforms Primary Responsibilities

Support the design, development, integration, testing, deployment, and maintenance of cloud-based software applications Develop scalable and reliable software capabilities supporting enterprise compute and data analytics platforms Participate in Agile software development activities, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, code reviews, testing, and demonstrations Analyze software and system requirements and translate them into functional software solutions Develop and maintain software using modern programming languages and development practices Support software installation, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, troubleshooting, and problem resolution Develop and maintain applications operating within Linux-based environments Assist with integrating software applications with cloud services, APIs, databases, and supporting infrastructure Support containerized application development and deployment Participate in automated build, test, integration, and deployment activities Troubleshoot software, integration, and deployment issues across development and cloud environments Develop and maintain technical documentation associated with software development and deployment activities Collaborate with software engineers, cloud engineers, systems engineers, test engineers, and other technical team members Apply secure software development and DevOps practices throughout the development lifecycle Support continuous improvement of software development, automation, and deployment processes Required Qualifications

Must have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline and zero (0) years of experience in software development, cloud engineering, or a related technical field; or A minimum of two (2) years of experience in software development, cloud engineering, or a related technical field in lieu of a degree Qualifying experience must include one or more of the following: Requirements analysis Software development Software installation Software evaluation Software enhancement Software maintenance Problem diagnosis and resolution Degrees in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems, Engineering, or similar technical disciplines will be considered Experience with one or more programming languages such as: Java Python C++ Experience working within Linux-based operating systems Desired Qualifications

Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker Experience with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes Experience with continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) tools and DevOps practices Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible Experience supporting cloud-native or distributed applications Familiarity with automated testing, deployment, monitoring, and configuration-management practices Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills Exempt hourly position. 11 paid holidays, minimum of 3 weeks PTO, company sponsored group medical plan, company paid dental, vision, life insurance, and STD/LTD plans.
