Job Overview
We’re looking for a Senior Accountant to take responsibility for accounting and financial reporting across several Group entities. The role will focus on IFRS consolidation, month-end closing, reconciliations, audit support, and preparation of management and shareholder reporting, with close collaboration across finance teams and external service providers.
Responsibilities
Maintain full accounting process for certain legal entities within the Group; Support the monthly consolidated IFRS accounts closing process in SAP including: - monthly check of the closing of stand-alone accounts of all Group companies for accuracy and completeness; - reconciliations of balances with external counterparties (Payment Systems, vendors); - reconciliations of turnovers and balances with other internal systems; - reconciliations of intercompany turnover and balances; - resolving all accounting irregularities and discrepancies. Maintain compliance of the consolidated financial reporting with internal policies and procedures and reporting deadlines; Prepare monthly consolidated and projects Reporting package (BS; PL; etc) for the management and shareholders; Communicating with the service providers in terms of reporting and tax compliance; Full support of the audits of consolidated and standalone financial statements of the companies in the different jurisdictions; handle auditors' requests in regard to the audit of the consolidated financials; Provide explanations and supporting documents; review of proposed audit adjustments. Handling ad-hoc requests from management and other departments. Requirements
Higher education in economics and/or accounting; 3+ years of experience as an IFRS manager / financial manager with consolidation responsibilities; Experience of working in a SAP B1 and 1C accounting system is an advantage; English B2+; Experience in Forex industry is a huge advantage; Any related certificates (ACCA, CPA, CIMA etc) are also advantageous.
