School Nurse (RN) - NHA Endeavor

What Your Days Look Like You will:

Provide medical training and delegation for school staff (medication administration, chronic disease support, CPR/First Aid, MERT) Support chronic disease management (allergies, asthma, diabetes, seizures, mental health) Write and implement individualized plans of care Respond to medical emergencies and coordinate Medical Emergency Response Teams (MERT) Collaborate with school administration, teachers, PT/OT, speech, social work, CNAs, and fellow RNs Participate in 504 and IEP meetings

You'll also provide both routine and complex nursing care, including:

Medication administration Assessing and treating illnesses and injuries Specialized nursing care as needed Public health education Provider consultations Schedule Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–3:30 PM Follows the school calendar, school breaks and summers off

Preferred Start date: November 2026

Active, unrestricted Michigan RN license BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross) within 90 days of employment Background check and fingerprinting will be required for this role Experience in school nursing, pediatrics, med-surg, ER, ICU, acute care, or public health preferred
