Job Summary

The Senior Financial Consolidation & Reporting Accountant develops close management and Chart of Accounts strategies along with performing consolidation of financial data to support the preparation of internal and external financial statements at period-end. Reporting to the Manager – Corporate Accounting, Consolidation & Reporting, this role prepares supporting financial schedules, compiles footnote and disclosure support, executes intercompany eliminations, and maintains general ledger and Financial Data Model (FDM) structures. Additionally, the role supports internal controls compliance, financial system enhancements, and continuous improvement processes to drive reporting accuracy and efficiency.

Key Job Responsibilities

Financial Accounting & Reporting: Review the financial statements and validate the initial trial balance to consolidation model; roll-forward and prepare period-end (quarterly and annual) financial statements including footnotes and disclosures in the financial reporting software (Workiva). Review the quarterly critical procedure checklist (CPC) for quarterly planning to ensure completeness. Prepare or review journal entries, balance sheet schedules, and intercompany eliminations. Review accruals to ensure compliance with statutory requirements and make adjustments as required Financial Consolidation: Review initial business unit consolidation ensuring translation rule sets are applied appropriately, continuity schedules are accurately updated, and control checks are cleared of any diagnostics. Support ongoing reporting enhancements, and provide ad-hoc accounting analysis as required. Process Improvement & Systems Support: Support the implementation of accounting processes, Workday system enhancements, and workflow automations to improve reporting efficiency. Collaborate with IT on accounting system requirements. GL Structure Management: Administer and maintain the Financial Data Model (FDM) / general ledger structure, ensuring proper categorization, accurate mapping of financial data, and alignment with both internal management reporting and external IFRS requirements. Close Management Strategy: Create visibility across the business of status and potential barriers to closing through effective communication channels. Ensure period close work areas by company are released on time to trigger the start of close cycle. Internal Controls & Compliance: Own designated internal controls and actively partner with cross-functional teams to help monitor their compliance processes. Ensure compliance evidence is properly formatted, validated, and retained across the board, while preparing consolidated accounting schedules and supporting documentation for external auditors. Minimum Education and/or Experience Required for the Job

Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business discipline 4+ years of progressive financial and corporate accounting experience Working knowledge and application of IFRS accounting standards. Advanced Excel proficiency CPA designation Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Strong technical knowledge of IFRS standards and general ledger mechanics, including accruals, trial balance reviews, and consolidation workflows Proven ability to perform financial variance analysis and draft structured technical accounting memos in clear business language Demonstrated ability to manage close timelines, adapt to evolving processes, and resolve reporting discrepancies proactively Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to build rapport across cross-functional teams, including FP&A Preferred Education and/or Experience

Experience with Workday Financials (or cloud-based ERPs) Experience with Workiva (or similar cloud-based financial reporting platforms) Other Requirements Travel, physical requirements, etc.

Ability to sit for long periods of time. Prolonged use of computers. Minimal travel to the US may be expected. Compensation Details:

$75,000 - $95,000 / Year

Compensation is commensurate with skill, education and experience.

Supplemental Pay: This position may also be eligible for Bonus opportunities tied to individual or business initiatives
