Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications. Measure, cut, shape, and assemble timber and other construction materials. Construct and install frameworks, doors, window frames, partitions, ceilings, and other structures. Carry out first-fix and second-fix carpentry work. Install timber structures, fixtures, fittings, and finishes. Use hand tools, power tools, and carpentry machinery safely and effectively. Repair, modify, and maintain existing wooden structures and fixtures. Ensure all work is accurately measured, levelled, aligned, and finished to a high standard. Work closely with other trades and site supervisors to meet project requirements. Maintain tools and keep the work area clean and organised. Follow site health and safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE. Requirements

Proven experience as a Carpenter in construction or a related environment. Good knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools. Ability to read and understand construction drawings and measurements. Experience with both rough and finish carpentry is an advantage. Skilled in using hand and power tools. Good attention to detail and quality of workmanship. Physically fit and able to handle materials and work at heights where required. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Relevant carpentry qualification, apprenticeship, or trade certification is an advantage. Good understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
