Senior Director, Research & Development / Head of R&D, Medical Devices

My client, a global medical device company, needs a Senior Director of R&D to lead its acute care platform. You'll own the pipeline for connected devices, capital equipment, software, and AI/ML clinical decision support, from concept through commercialization.

What you'll be doing

Define the platform R&D strategy and build business cases for new technologies Lead programs end to end across hardware, software, systems engineering, and informatics Oversee design reviews, risk management, V&V strategy, and transfer to manufacturing Manage departmental budgets, resource plans, and capital investments Lead NPD and Sustaining Engineering. About you

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related area. You've commercialized Class I, II, or III devices from concept through launch You've led development spanning systems engineering, software, hardware, and capital equipment You've built and led global, cross-functional teams in a heavily matrixed environment.
