Sports Trading

Sports Trader is responsible for compiling odds for desk-specific markets. They monitor real-time sports events results and perform pre-match and live trading under the limited supervision of more senior traders. Sports Trader must be keen on achieving a competent level of analytical and technical knowledge and showing accountability for their work and results.

Trading Support

Sports Trader is required to answer and resolve any queries from the trading support team. Sports Trader completes any additional tasks relating to trading and support as assigned by managers during their shifts.

Customer Analysis

Sports Trader conducts customer analysis and monitors bet limits. With support from more senior traders, they learn the market trends and observe competitors.

Bet Settlement

Sports Trader is expected to settle any manual markets not covered by automation.

Administration

Sports Trader is required to undertake administrative tasks as needed, to update databases that will assist with trading/odd compilation and sportsbook-related escalations.

The Sports Trader is required to build on existing knowledge of internal policies, tools, and systems.

Miscellaneous

The Sports Trader is expected to understand the operational aspect of the business together with market trends and to build and maintain a strong working relationship across the team.
