Huron’s Healthcare Transformation Services (HDTx) team works with healthcare organizations to solve their most complex EHR challenges, so we are constantly searching for skilled technical consultants to help our clients maximize their technology investments. Our Senior Consultants come with a wide variety of experience leveraging their technical expertise to help our clients enhance their EHR platform to improve care delivery, patient outcomes and profitability.
We are seeking an experienced Epic Estimates & Financial Assistance Senior Consultant to support ongoing Revenue Cycle initiatives. This consultant will primarily help work down an existing ticket backlog while also providing support for system optimization and upgrades. The ideal candidate will bring strong Epic Revenue Cycle experience, hands-on troubleshooting skills, and the ability to independently manage application issues and enhancement requests.
Key Responsibilities Help work down the existing Epic Estimates and Financial Assistance ticket backlog Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve application issues and support tickets Support Epic optimization initiatives and system upgrades Identify opportunities to improve current workflows, configuration, and end-user experience Partner with operational and technical stakeholders to understand issues and recommend solutions Perform application configuration, testing, validation, and documentation as needed Requirements Current Epic certification in a Revenue Cycle application is required Strong hands-on experience supporting and/or implementing Epic Revenue Cycle applications Experience troubleshooting application issues and working through support ticket backlogs Experience with Epic application configuration, testing, and optimization Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple issues and requests Prior Epic implementation, upgrade, or optimization experience Preferred Qualifications Epic Estimates and/or Financial Assistance badge strongly preferred Direct hands-on experience with Epic Estimates and Financial Assistance workflows Experience supporting Revenue Cycle optimization and upgrade initiatives Consulting experience within complex healthcare organizations Experience managing high-volume application support or ticket queues The estimated base hourly rate range for this job will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s benefit plans, which include medical, dental and vision coverage, and other wellness programs. The rate range of information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future.
