Journeyman Sprinkler Fitter

Total Group of Companies is expanding and is seeking a Journeyman Sprinkler Fitter to join our established Fire Services division in Red Deer. This role goes beyond standard service work - offering the opportunity to work on diverse commercial and industrial fire protection systems while contributing to the growth of our sprinkler division.

The ideal candidate is a fully certified sprinkler fitter who takes pride in their trade, enjoys problem-solving in the field, and is interested in growing into a leadership role over time.

What You’ll Be Doing Reporting to the Sr. Fire Systems Specialist, you will:

Inspect, service, and troubleshoot fire sprinkler systems

Install, modify, and repair sprinkler piping and components

Perform system upgrades, retrofits, and additions

Inspect and service fire pumps and hydrant systems

Respond to scheduled and emergency service calls

Identify and recommend fire code compliance solutions

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications

Prepare detailed inspection, testing, and deficiency reports

Maintain company tools, equipment, and service vehicles

Ensure all work is completed in compliance with applicable codes and standards

Support other Fire & Safety divisions as required

Maintain professional client relationships on-site
