Position Requirements

Description OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center is a designated Level I trauma center. The nonprofit Catholic hospital is dedicated to serving the diverse community of Rockford, IL. Outstanding surgeons and support staff team up to work in the fast-paced environment.

Case Assignments & Schedule

Flexible scheduling Ability to work 3, 4, or 5 days a week for 30 to 36 weeks a year. Light to no call options available Ortho, general, urology, plastics, hearts, neuro, and more

Key Responsibilities • Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures • Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent • Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients • Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia • Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed • Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership

Requirements • MD or DO from an accredited institution • Completion of Anesthesiology Residency • Board Eligible or Board Certified • Current medical licensure • ECFMG/FLEX (if applicable)
