Freelance Phlebotomist

Freelance Phlebotomist - UK Wide Heim is looking for experienced Freelance Phlebotomists to join our growing practitioner network across the UK.

As a Heim practitioner, you’ll provide high-quality care to patients in their own homes and community settings, supporting a range of healthcare services on behalf of our clients. You’ll work independently in the community while being supported by Heim’s Clinical Operations team.

About the role This opportunity is ideal for an experienced phlebotomist looking for flexible work alongside other professional or personal commitments.

Appointments are made available through the Heim platform, allowing you to view available work and choose appointments that fit around your existing schedule and availability. Our technology supports you throughout the appointment journey, from accessing appointment information and completing clinical tasks through to recording outcomes and contacting the Heim team if you need support.

As Heim continues to grow, there may also be opportunities to undertake additional clinical tasks alongside phlebotomy, subject to your skills, competency and appropriate training.

What we’re looking for We’re looking for practitioners who are confident working independently and committed to providing an excellent patient experience.

You will need:

A minimum of 12 months’ recent phlebotomy experience

Confidence performing venepuncture independently

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

A professional, friendly and patient-focused approach

Good organisational and time-management skills

The ability to work independently in patients’ homes and community settings

A commitment to maintaining high standards of clinical care, safety and documentation
