About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Tax Manager to join our leadership team. This is a hybrid role - 3 days a week onsite at our Wakefield, MA office - for a seasoned, client-focused professional with 10+ years of public accounting experience who wants technical work that matters and a direct hand in client relationships, not just a review queue.

Responsibilities

Supervise tax engagements in accordance with firm and professional standards Plan and schedule tax engagements with clients and internal resources Build and maintain direct client relationships Perform detailed reviews of tax returns and workpapers Conduct tax research projects Communicate with clients and team members on project status, opportunities, and issues Provide training, direction, and oversight to team members Maintain technical expertise across relevant tax areas and industry specializations Build new client relationships and manage an existing book of business, including budgets and production goals Support consulting and special projects as requested by management and clients Qualifications

BSBA in Accounting CPA certification required 10+ years of experience in public accounting Ability to manage multiple client engagements and meet deadlines Excellent written and verbal communication skills Organized, detail-oriented, and client-focused Experience with QuickBooks, ProSystem fx Tax, Microsoft Word, and Excel Pay Range and Compensation Package

Base salary $130,000–$165,000 per year, based on relevant experience, skills, education, and internal equity 401(k) with matching Health, dental, vision, and life insurance Disability insurance Paid time off Hybrid schedule - 3 days/week onsite (Wakefield, MA), 2 days remote Equal Opportunity Statement
