About the role   At IDX Victoria we are seeking an experienced full-time MRI Supervisor to provide clinical leadership, operational oversight, and workforce development across multiple MRI sites within the North Metro Melbourne region.

This is a full-time position with flexibility to travel to our other MRI sites within the Region including Nth Melbourne, Fairfield, Niddrie, Moonee Ponds and Sunshine Private and St Albans.

Reporting to the MRI Manager and Regional Manager, this role ensures high-quality imaging standards, optimised workflows, safe, compliant practices, while supporting advanced MRI services and continuous improvement initiatives across a diverse fleet of MRI systems and vendors.

The position plays a key role in driving clinical excellence, supporting staff training and assessment, and standardising MRI practices across sites.

To Be Successful You’ll Need

Minimum 5 years’ experience in MRI

Demonstrated leadership and team development experience

Experience managing or supporting multi-site MRI services (desirable)

Advanced MRI clinical expertise across multiple systems/platforms

Strong understanding of MRI operations, workflow, and quality systems

Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills

Multi-vendor MRI experience (Siemens, GE, Philips)

Bachelor of Medical Imaging (or equivalent)

AHPRA Registration and Radiation Use License

SMIRT MRI Accreditation (Level 1 minimum)

Ability to work the required rostered hours for this position

Ability and willingness to travel between sites within the region
