Joining ConcertAI means working alongside bold thinkers, builders, and healthcare experts on innovative, high-impact products that directly improve patient lives. You’ll be part of a fast-growing, mission-driven organization at the forefront of AI-enabled healthcare, with meaningful opportunities for growth and leadership.
Your Opportunity
The Solutions Consultant, Commercial Data is responsible for translating complex pharmaceutical and life sciences customer needs into well-defined, scalable, and implementation ready solutions using ConcertAI's data, technology, and application capabilities. This role serves as a critical bridge between the pre-sales solution process and implementation, partnering with customers and internal teams to define solution approaches, architecture, data flows, integration requirements, and implementation considerations.
The Solutions Consultant, Commercial Data is primarily focused on solution architecture, solution design, implementation transition, and solution continuity. The role participates in customer discovery and pre-sales solution consulting, but is not primarily responsible for originating or closing business. The Solution Architect partners closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, Data, Engagement Management, Business Analysis, and Project Management teams to ensure solutions are technically feasible, clearly defined, and successfully transitioned into implementation.
How You'll Make an Impact
Solution Architecture & Design
Translate customer business objectives and requirements into comprehensive solution designs leveraging ConcertAI's Data Foundry, Maestro configuration capabilities, Cadence applications, and related data assets.
Design solution approaches incorporating data sources, data flows, business rules, configurations, workflows, integrations, and downstream application or analytics requirements.
Develop conceptual solution architectures, data-flow diagrams, integration approaches, workflows, and solution documentation that clearly communicate how the proposed solution will operate.
Evaluate customer requirements against existing product and platform capabilities and identify configuration, integration, product, data, or engineering needs.
Partner with Product, Engineering, Data, and implementation teams to validate technical feasibility, dependencies, assumptions, and constraints.
Identify solution risks and design decisions early and drive alignment on how they should be addressed.
Ensure solution designs are scalable, supportable, compliant, and aligned with ConcertAI product and technology standards.
Implementation Transition & Solution Continuity
Own the solution transition from the commercial process into implementation for assigned opportunities.
Document solution scope, architecture, business objectives, data requirements, assumptions, dependencies, key decisions, and customer expectations.
Conduct structured solution handoffs with Engagement Managers, Business Analysts, Project Managers, Product, Engineering, and Data teams.
Ensure implementation teams understand both what was sold and the customer objectives and design rationale behind the solution.
Remain engaged through implementation as the solution-design authority for architectural questions, material scope changes, and complex solution decisions.
Partner with implementation teams to resolve gaps between the original solution design and requirements identified during implementation.
Assess proposed changes for downstream architectural, product, data, and implementation implications.
Customer Discovery & Requirements
Participate in customer discovery sessions to understand business processes, data environments, workflows, technical requirements, and desired outcomes.
Engage with customer stakeholders across Market Access, Commercial Operations, Analytics, Data Management, IT, and related functions.
Translate business requirements into clear functional and technical solution components.
Facilitate detailed solution-design workshops when deeper technical or data discovery is required.
Work with third-party data vendors and customer IT organizations to understand integration requirements, data dependencies, and implementation constraints.
Pre-Sales Solution Consulting
Support Sales and senior Solution Consultants on complex opportunities that require deeper solution architecture or technical expertise.
Participate in customer presentations, discovery sessions, demonstrations, and technical discussions.
Develop architecture and solution-design materials for proposals, RFPs, RFIs, Statements of Work, and customer workshops.
Provide input into implementation complexity, dependencies, assumptions, and solution feasibility before commercial commitments are made.
Help ensure proposed scope and commitments accurately reflect ConcertAI capabilities and implementation realities.
Solution Standards & Reusability
Develop reusable solution patterns, reference architectures, data-flow models, and solution-design templates.
Identify recurring customer requirements that can be standardized rather than solved independently for each customer.
Partner with Product and Engineering to identify recurring capability gaps and opportunities for productization or standardization.
Improve the consistency and quality of solution documentation and implementation handoffs across the Solutions organization.
What You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree or Master’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, Analytics, Life Sciences, or related field.
10+ years of experience in solution architecture, implementation consulting, business analysis, data consulting, solution consulting, or a related customer-facing role.
Experience working with pharmaceutical, healthcare, life sciences, data, analytics, or enterprise technology solutions.
Strong understanding of data integration concepts, including ingestion, mapping, transformation, business rules, data quality, APIs, and downstream consumption.
Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technical and functional solution designs.
Experience developing solution architecture, workflow, integration, or data-flow documentation.
Strong customer-facing communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
Ability to work effectively across Sales, Product, Engineering, Data, Engagement Management, Business Analysis, and Project Management teams.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced customer environment and make sound decisions with incomplete information.
Experience with data analysis using python, sql, or other similar language to investigate requirements and validate outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience within Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, Healthcare Data, Specialty Pharmacy, Hub Services, Market Access, or Commercial Analytics environments.
Familiarity with healthcare data aggregation, patient services data, claims data, specialty pharmacy data, payer data, and related data ecosystems.
Experience with complex third-party data integrations and multi-system implementation environments.
Familiarity with cloud data platforms, data warehouses, ETL/ELT processes, APIs, and modern data architectures.
Experience with enterprise SaaS, data-as-a-service, or analytics platforms.
