About the Department

The largest regional health service in North East Victoria and Southern NSW, serving a catchment of over 250,000 people Over 64,000 emergency presentations a year, with a 26% admission rate Around 40% paediatric presentations, giving a broad and varied case mix 24/7 FACEM coverage at the main campus Two complementary sites: a higher-acuity main ED and a lower-acuity second campus ACEM-accredited for 24 months of emergency medicine training, with an active teaching culture Emergency specialists and rural generalists work side by side in a multidisciplinary team, with a strong focus on kindness and teamwork

About the Role

Deliver senior clinical care and decision-making across a diverse, high-volume case mix Lead, supervise and teach registrars, junior doctors and medical students Contribute to quality improvement, clinical governance and departmental development Help shape a growing department as it expands its consultant workforce

About You

Fellowship of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (FACEM). Exam-complete trainees are also welcome to apply Eligible for specialist registration with AHPRA Strong leadership, communication and teaching skills A collaborative, patient-centred approach
