Who are we looking for
The Integration Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining integrations across the digital ecosystem using Azure Integration Services (AIS). The role implements integration patterns defined by Enterprise Architecture and ensures secure, scalable, and governed data exchange between business applications, digital platforms, and customer-facing solutions.
Working closely with Enterprise Architects, Solution Architects, Product Owners, and application teams, the Integration Developer delivers APIs, workflows, event-driven integrations, and data transformation logic while adhering to enterprise integration standards and governance principles.
Job Description:
Develop and maintain integrations using Azure Integration Services Implement workflows using Azure Logic Apps Build and manage APIs through Azure API Management Develop asynchronous messaging solutions using Azure Service Bus Design and implement data transformation and mapping logic Integrate CMS, DAM, PIM, ERP, CRM, and other business systems Translate integration designs and specifications into production-ready solutions Ensure security, authentication, authorization, and encryption standards are applied consistently Troubleshoot integration issues and support root cause analysis Contribute to integration documentation, data flow diagrams, and operational runbooks Support testing activities, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing Monitor integration performance, reliability, and scalability Collaborate with architecture and governance teams to ensure compliance with enterprise standards Participate in Agile ceremonies and support delivery planning and estimation
Must-Have Requirements:
Proven experience as an Integration Developer, Middleware Developer, or API Developer Hands-on experience with Azure Integration Services Strong knowledge of Azure Logic Apps Experience with Azure API Management Knowledge of Azure Data Factory Experience with Azure Service Bus and event-driven integration patterns Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, XML, and API design principles Experience with authentication mechanisms such as OAuth2, JWT, and Azure Entra ID Experience with data mapping, transformation, and integration workflows Understanding of enterprise integration patterns and best practices Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices Experience working in Agile delivery environments Should Have:
Experience integrating CMS, DAM, PIM, ERP, CRM, or eCommerce platforms Knowledge of Azure Functions and event-driven architectures Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Azure Monitor and Application Insights Experience with Infrastructure as Code approaches Understanding of data governance and integration governance frameworks Strong collaboration and stakeholder communication skills Nice-to-Have:
Experience with Optimizely, Syndigo, SAP, Salesforce, or similar enterprise platforms Experience in manufacturing or industrial enterprise environments Participation in large-scale digital transformation programs Microsoft Azure certifications (AZ-204, AZ-305, AZ-400, or related) Experience in global multi-region integration environments Why choose Merkle?
