About the job

TYTAN Technologies The PACE is fast. The expectations are high. The contribution matters. Working at TYTAN is more than a job, this is a mission. We thrive, think big, and hold ourselves to the highest standard. Our mission and values guide everything we do, and we're looking for people who thrive on ownership, embrace challenges, and are energized by meaningful work. If you're motivated by impact and thrive in dynamic environments, you'll fit right in.

At TYTAN, we aim to set a global standard in autonomous air defense with AI-driven, cost-efficient systems that counter unmanned aerial threats at scale. We protect people. We protect critical infrastructure. We protect Europe’s sovereignty.

We are Looking for an Automation Engineer to design, program, and integrate PLC-based control systems and actuator solutions for our ground infrastructure platform. You'll work hands-on with hardware and safety-critical logic, from control architecture through commissioning.

Your Roadmap to Make an Impact Integrate ground infrastructure software for drone launchers, sensors, vehicles, and related equipment - digital/analog I/O, actuators.

Build the bridge to TYTAN's overarching SW-team for centralized controls of the ground infrastructure via the C2.

Own the fieldbus and network integration layer across the platform: industrial Ethernet topology, telemetry, and inter-unit communication.

Turn system-level requirements and finite state machine designs (from Systems and Safety Engineering) into working, testable software that respects the safety-relevant interfaces they define - you do not own the safety analysis, but you implement precisely to it.

Debug on real hardware in the lab alongside Electrical and Mechanical Engineering colleagues, and keep the software maintainable as the ground infrastructure grows.
