Summary:

Safely set up and operate the part-off machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Required to understand and follow all company policies and procedures Ensure that all guards and safety equipment have been installed and properly checked Set up and maintain part-off machine Safely operate part-off machine as assigned by line lead, team leader, supervisor, or manager. Required to maintain quality standards on all products Must be able to communicate clearly with co-workers, line lead, team leader, supervisor, and manager Adhere to ISO 9001, Quality, ISO 14001 Environmental, and OSHAS 18001 certification requirements Requires regular attendance per the schedule assigned by supervisor Required to understand and follow all safety policies and procedures Required to understand and follow work procedures as set forth by all ISO documentation Maintain thread quality at all times Read and interpret blueprints whenever required by operation Check parts dimensionally with calipers and measuring tools to maintain engineering drawing tolerances Perform other tasks as assigned Responsible to maintain a safe working environment for all employees Required Skills/Abilities: Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within manufacturing environment Mechanical skills; must be able to operate and set up machinery Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent to it, desired

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements: Typical office/factory environment with possibility of exposure to heat in production areas Must be able to lift 50 lbs. in a safe manner Clarity of vision and the ability to focus on a fast and repetitious operation for extended period of time Exposure to heavy equipment or components needed to produce product (safety toed shoes required) Exposure to sparks, chips, and dust (eye protection required) Must be able to perform repetitive motion. Examples: walking, reaching, bending, twisting, stooping, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods of time Exposure to machine noise levels (hearing protection required) Exposure to electrical and mechanical moving parts
