Account Manager | Tampa, FL (In office) | $55K to $65K base + commission

The role You'll own a portfolio of AFC Logistics brokerage customers and be the reason they keep shipping with us. You'll report to the Director of Operations (Account Management). Success means customers who stay, loads that hold their margin, and problems caught before the customer notices.

What you'll do

Serve as the day-to-day contact for your brokerage accounts Update customers on pickup, delivery, and delays before they have to ask Work with our brokerage desk to fix carrier issues fast while keeping customers informed Watch per-load margin and flag lanes trending below the floor Spot new lanes and expansion opportunities and log them in HubSpot Deliver monthly portfolio reporting on retention, margin, and customer health

What you bring

2+ years in freight brokerage, logistics account management, or customer service Clear, proactive communication by phone and email, especially when things go sideways Hands-on CRM experience (HubSpot or similar) The ability to read load-level margin and spot problems early

Nice to have

McLeod TMS experience Carrier-side service recovery or claims experience

Where you'll work Tampa HQ, 1120 E Kennedy Blvd. 5 days in office.
