Bilingual Medical Assistant / Phlebotomist – Primary Care Practice

Our client is seeking an experienced Bilingual Medical Assistant / Phlebotomist to join their growing primary care practice.

This position is ideal for a Medical Assistant with strong experience in Medicare Advantage, HEDIS, and primary care, along with excellent phlebotomy skills and the ability to perform blood draws independently.

The Position:

The Medical Assistant / Phlebotomist will work closely with providers and clinical staff to deliver excellent patient care while supporting Medicare Advantage and HEDIS requirements, preventative care, and care-gap closure.

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay Range: $15.00 – $20.00 per hour, based on experience and Medicare Advantage/HEDIS knowledge.

Responsibilities:

Room patients and obtain vital signs and medical histories. Perform blood draws, venipuncture, and specimen collection independently. Support Medicare Advantage and HEDIS initiatives. Identify and assist with closing preventative care gaps. Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments. Coordinate referrals, testing, and follow-up care. Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR/EHR. Help maintain efficient patient flow and provide excellent patient care. Requirements:

Bilingual English/Spanish required. Medical Assistant experience in a primary care setting. Strong Medicare Advantage and HEDIS experience. Strong phlebotomy skills required. Comfortable performing blood draws independently. EMR/EHR experience. Excellent communication, organization, and patient-care skills. Dependable and able to work effectively in a fast-paced practice.
